Hon. Kenn Stransky

A life of public service was inspired during the summer of the Nixon Watergate hearings as Kenn Stransky listened to those hearings on his transistor radio. He has now served the residents of Essex County for 25+ years as a Guardian ad Litem in Family, Juvenile and Probate courts in Guildhall. These court room experiences introduced him not only to the unique culture of Essex County but also to virtually every complex case before the sitting presiding judges and members of the local Bar.

While serving as a Guardian ad Litem Judge Stransky taught in an Essex County public high school, was then a correctional educator in the NH county jail system and finally he became licensed by the NH Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services as a case manager and counselor. Those experiences, and the required training, have brought great depth of knowledge to his role as an Assistant Judge in Essex County.
